Hatched Consulting: Frequently Asked Questions

by | Sep 6, 2022

Here are some of the most frequently asked questions I receive from potential clients when contacting Hatched Consulting about our services. If you are here exploring the opportunity to work with me or to see if we would be a good fit, this may be a great place to start.

Do you charge by project or by the hour?

This is project dependent. After our discovery call, you will be presented with a pricing sheet or personalized quote. I may propose a start to finish package for your project. I may propose hourly pay-as-you-go or even a bulk set of hours (at a discount) for bigger/ongoing projects.

Do you work out of an office or virtually?

Both. I love having the opportunity to meet in person when possible. It is more personal and effective use of time when we can be face-to-face working on a project. I work out of a detached office on the grounds of my home, in local coffee shops, at clients’ places of business, and definitely virtually as well. This is usually left up to the client to decide how they best work, and I fit into that.

What is my first step to working with you?

First, fill in and submit the form on the CONTACT page of my website. Complete the questionnaire that pops up after submission. Once I have reviewed the information, I will personally reach out to schedule a discovery call. Through this process, we will determine if we are a good, mutual fit for one another. If so, and the project fits into your timeline and my availability, I will send a pricing sheet and/or personal quote. Once a package is chosen, contract signed and first invoice paid for, work will begin!

What types of businesses do you typically work with?

I work with heart-centered businesses of all kinds. I choose projects based on what I resonate with and the businesses I feel I can benefit with my experience, interests and background. I specialize in all things kids and family, education and conscious choices.

What are some things I should be looking for or asking when looking for a business consultant?

This often a FEEL decision. Talk with them- at least virtually- or better yet, in person.

  • Do you click?
  • Do you have commonalities?
  • Does the consultant have real-life business ownership and operating experience?
  • Do your timelines and availability match?
  • Is the cost reasonable and flexible?

Be sure to read what others are saying about their experiences with the consultant. Check out MY TESTIMONIALS if you’re here.

These steps combined will either leave you wanting more or wanting to sign up that day to get started! Follow your gut. Letting someone into your business is vulnerable and scary- but it doesn’t have to be!
